Acts Kingdom

Withstand  Opposition

Paul knew what it meant to stand strong in the face of aggressive opposition. He faced persecution in its most volatile form. He was arrested, beaten, and threatened with death. But nothing could dissuade Paul from his course. No force of darkness could
deter him; Paul remained true to the Lord’s call on his life. In Ephesians 6:10–18, Paul uses the metaphor of armor to help us understand the weapons of our warfare against the forces of darkness that come against us. Paul admonishes us to put on the whole armor of God in order to stand against the forces of hell that would prevent us from following the Lord’s will for our lives. Amen
