Choose a Renewed Mind
In Ephesians 4:17–19, Paul tells believers that we should “no longer walk . . . in the futility” of our minds. He goes on to list five traits of a walk
tainted by the bondage of the world: darkened understanding, alienation from the life of God, ignorance of God’s way, a hardened heart, and existing in a desensitized, unresponsive, unfeeling state. But the Holy Spirit came to “teach us” all things regarding Jesus and the kingdom of God (John 14:26). We are exhorted in Ephesians 4:23 to be “renewed in the spirit of your mind.”
