Freed from Fear
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Far too often, what we perceive as faith is actually motivated by fear. In more instances than we care to admit, we pursue powerful faith because we are afraid—afraid to be sick, afraid to be poor, afraid to be sad, afraid of disease. Fear can be a powerful motivator. But if we want to operate in real, power faith, we must own up to the fact that the Lord isn’t the source of the spirit of fear. Amen
