To thank, praise Barach is the root word from which Baruch- (Blessed One) and Barachah- (knee).
In thr Old Testament one got down on his knees when preparing to speak or receive words of blessing.  From God's side, He is the Blesser, the One who gives the capacity for living a full, rich life. The first action of God the Creator to the newly created man and woman was to bless them. Gen. 1:28
Remember all God wants to do is bless us everyday, bless Him in all you do. Amen
