1Peter teaches that there is an important purpose for one unity in Christ. Believer's are like stones in a building, together they become a spiritual house.
1 Peter 2:5
This structure is to offer up Spiritual Sacrifices to a Holy God. The redeemed in Christ both Jew and Gentile to the Jewish Priest hood.
The priest were intercessors theymade atonement for the land, they stood in thr gap
(Ezek 22:30) between God and humans and mediated on behalf of people who needed atonement for sin. Jesus is that gap, that sacrifice, that atonement once and for all, for all sin. Amen
