A New and Living Way
The Old Testament sacrifices were merely copies of the heavenly altar. What both the Old Testament and the New Testament teach us is that God is a totally Holy Being whose very presence cannot tolerate sin. The Holy presence of God literally destroys sin with a burning purifying fire. Amen
They do not consider in their hearts. That I remember all their wickedness; now their own deeds have surrounded them; they are before My face. Hosea 7:2

A New and Living Way
We learn in the Old Testament that God instituted what is called the Mosaic Covenant, with animal sacrifices provided to offer temporary covering for man's sin and guilt. In the Levitical Sacrifices, the worshipers were not made perfect. Animal sacrifices had to be repeated yearly.

Jesus came to make a way where was no way, no reproach to Father God in a living and worshipful relationship, and no path to meaningful and victorious living. He is our High Priest- the High Priest of a New Covenant sealed by His Blood. Amen

Enjoy Right Standing Before God
It is Jesus who through the power of the Spirit within us, purifies and gives us power to be victorious. Christianity is not a matter of trying to be Holy and doing good works. Christianity is about a personal relationship with Christ. We become Holy and minister good works not as a means of trying to become righteous, but rather as the power of Jesus fills us , we naturally become more Him. Amen
