And Signs Will Follow

The New Testament miracles are essentially expressions of God’s salvation and glory. Wherever Jesus went, the miraculous followed. Why did Jesus perform miracles? Jesus answered this question Himself. He declared His miracles were the fulfillment of the promises of the Messiah’s kingdom as foretold by Isaiah. Jesus’ miracles were signs of the presence of the kingdom of God.
Jesus did not work miracles to prove His deity or His messiahship. In fact, He clearly refused to work miracles as proofs (Matthew 12:38– 42; Luke 11:29–32).The lists of the gifts of the Spirit in the New Testament show miracles were one of the means by which believers ministered to others (Romans 12:6–8; 1 Corinthians 12:8–10, 28–30; Ephesians 4:11–12). This is sufficient evidence to verify that the working of miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit and to the glory of Jesus Christ is still intended in the church today and available for ministry through any believer the Spirit may choose to use. Amen

To The Glory of God

As faith develops, it accesses the grace of God for the miraculous. Yet whenever the miraculous is released, even though mankind benefits, it is always for God’s glory Human nature inevitably worshipsthe human agent through whom God’s miracles might flow, and praises the one God uses to work a miracle, as well as the miracle itself, or artifacts associated with the miracle. The ancient church has venerated objects associated with past miracles, supposing that there is some efficacy in the object. This human tendency has a history, even in the Bible. Be very aware of our worship, knowing this truth about worship as it relates to objects or rituals we want to understand  and not fall into a trap. Amen

Only Believe

Mark 16:17–18 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. In the gospel of John, we learn that, on the night He was betrayed, Jesus promised to continue the ministry of the miraculous through the disciples: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than
these he will do, because I go to My Father.” In both cases, the continuation of the miraculous is based on the condition of believing. Amen

Proverbs 3

Intimacy  and Spiritual Breakthrough
Faith's Warfare

2 words  stick out in this chapter,  "ways and acknowledge."
1) ways, a road or course.
2) acknowledge,  know or to know by.

First: ways, it suggests  opportunities   that a person  may  encounter  on a daily basis.
Second: acknowledge,  this refers to life-giving intimacy,  as in marriage.  Applied to a spiritual context, it suggests an intimacy with God in prayer that conceives  and birth blessings and victories.  God promises to guide our paths to life betting endeavors.  Amen

In His Steps

There is no greater stimulus for us to gain faith for healing than the ministry of Jesus. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Jesus' ministry of healing the sick and the oppressed of the devil while He was  on this earth, He does through His church today, and He does through His Word forever. Amen

Proverbs 2

The Value of Wisdom

Listen, apply your heart, cry out for, seek and search for wisdom and knowledge, and  understanding.  They come from the Lord.
Proverbs  2:1-6
Give condition for escape from the list of threats represented  by which comprises wicked males and wicked females. Proverbs  2:7-19
Reminiscent of the contrast of regarding (Proverbs 1) the blessed man vs. the ungodly, here the benefits of the righteous are followed by the dire end of the wicked.
Proverbs 2:20-22. Amen

Proverbs 1

The Beginning of Knowledge

In Proverbs  1:1-7 Solomon King of Israel  uses words like, to know, to receive,  to perceive, to give, to understand,  to fear. This is the beginning of knowing,  King Solomon give a stern warning of the foolish paths of life.

Shun Evil Counsel

V. 8-19
We hear words like, hear the instructions and do not forsake.  These warnings  are very clear on which we are to listen not to these person's.

The Call of Wisdom

V. 20-33
Wisdom calls aloud outside. Using a females  voice the writer calls in a voice that is soft and inviting the opposite of a male voice that maybe  harsh and rough. God is giving His final warning  and consequences for not taking  heed to His gentle  call.
