The manifestation of this light in our lives is displayed through the Godly characteristics of Jesus are imparted (given) to us by the Holy Spirit.  Gal. 5:22-23

The goal for a follower of Jesus is to walk in both the power of and the character of the Kingdom. Amen

In 1 Corinthians 3:1-3, the apostle Paul states that envy, strife, and divisions are evidence of of spiritual immaturity and carnality. Tragically,  a great deal of spiritual immaturity is seen in the church today.

Where milk once sufficed, a growing child needs solid food to insure physical health.  Scripture presents this as an analogy of our growth in Christ. Amen

In 1Peter2:2 we read that we should  "as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word,  that you grow thereby. " Amen

Know the Abiding Word

Knowing the Word to the point where it flows as freely as breath and is a continual "voice" within you, is the key to living a fruitful life to the glory of God. Amen

Knowing the Abiding Word

If we are cut off from Christ,  the true vine, we cannot live.  However, when we enjoy the utter connectedness of abiding in the Vine,  with His life flowing through us, we not only know life, but fruitful, abundant life. Amen
