In the understanding the concept of authority of the Bible.   It is important to understand these concepts.

2. Absolute:  is a term conveying the idea there are fixed laws that are not subject to human opinion. In other words,there is a right and a wrong.  God's Word is Absolute, while Humanist will declare there are no absolutes, those embracing Judeo-Christian world view believe that absolutes most certainly exist and are not subject to popular opinion of the moment.

1. Cultural Relativism: a secular world view in which no absolute right or wrong exsit in the universe.  In other words, everything is relative. This belief stems from the idea there is no God and man is the center of the universe. It is an expression of modern humanism wherein absolutely everything is up for questioning including the authority of Scripture.  (Part 1)
