Christ the Healer

The Type of the Brazen Serpent

In Numbers  21:9, we read the Israelites all being healed by looking at the brazen serpent,  which was lifted up as a type of the  Atonement.  If healing was not to be in the Atonement,  why were these dying Israelites required to look at the type of the  Atonement for bodily healing?  Since both healing and forgiveness came through the type of the Atonement,  why not to us through  Christ on the Cross?
As their curse was removed by the lifting up of the  brazen serpent,  so Paul tells us ours is removed by the lifting up of Christ.  Galatians  3:13
Amen

Healing Not Deffered until the Millennium

There is some that teach bodily healing in the  Millennium  Day, Jesus said,  "this day [not the Millennium Day, or after death] is this Scripture fulfilled in your ears." It was the Church that God  set (not in the Millennium,) "teachers, miracles, gifts of healing, " etc.  Ephesians 4:11-13 the Church will need healing during the Millennium,  because these saints will receive glorified bodies before the Millennium. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58.
God's promise to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh during the acceptable  year of the Lord which is the dispensation of the Holy Spirit. He brings to us "the earnest" or "first fruits" of our spiritual inheritance,  until the last enemy (death) has been destroyed. Amen

Recovery of All Lost in the Fall

Through the Fall we lost everything.  Jesus recovered  all through His Atonement.  It was on the Day of Atonement that God said, "Ye shall return every man to his possession."
The order is the same; first, Calvary,  then the Gospel trumpet that He "bare our sins." and  "bare our sickness," to be sounded "to every creature." This shows us that we may return "every man to his possession."
Amen

Christ the Healer

Must do as the Farmer's do.

When we attend to God’s Words by not letting them depart from before our eyes and by keeping them in the midst of our hearts, the seed is in "good ground." This is the kind of ground in which,  Jesus says, "It bringth forth fruit." Paul says, "It effectually workth." When the farmer gets his seed into the ground, he does not dig it up every day to see it is doing,  but says, "I am glad that is settled." He believes the seed has done it's work. Why not have this same faith in the "imperishable seed" Christ's Words.

I was reminded yesterday, that the Word  heals not only the sickness and diseases  that the deceiver wants or has attached to our bodies. But also the Rhema Word of God heals emotional  and other forms of trauma "life's problems such as marriage and children." I praise you Lord for your provisions. Amen
Have a Jesus weekend

Christ the Healer

The Word is the Seed

Only divine promises make our faith steadfast. God’s promises work their wonders while we see and Act on eternal realities  (on His promises,  His faithfulness). He always accepts us and undertakes four when we observe, Mark 11:24 Hebrews  10:35-36

Christ the Healer

The Word is the Seed

We can be sufficiently enlightened by the promises of God by simply believing that our prayers is heard before we have experienced the answer
Mark 11: 24. Following this with the observance of Hebrews 10: 35-36, we can always bring to pass the fulfillment of any divine promise. Amen

Christ the Healer

The Word is the Seed

The Gospel does not leave a man in uncertainty praying with an "if it be Thy will"; it tells him what God's will is. The Holy Spirit's words, "Himself... bare our sickness" Matthew  8:17
Neither the spiritual nor the physical phase of the Gospel is to be applied by prayer alone. Seed is powerless until it is planted. Many, instead of saying,  "Pray for me." should first say, "Teach me God’s Word,  so I can intellectually  cooperate for my recovery. " We must know what the benefits of Calvary are before we can appropriate them by faith.  David specifies: "Who forgive the all thine iniquities,  who health all thy diseases." Amen

Christ the Healer

The Word is the Seed

Jesus said,  " The Word is the seed." It is the seed of the divine life.  Until the person seeking healing is sure from God’s Word that it is God's  will to heal him, he is trying to  reap a harvest where there is no seed planted. It is not God’s will that there shall be a harvest without  planting a seed...without His will being known and acted on. Jesus said, " You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." Freedom from sickness comes from knowing the truth. Amen

To Those Needing Healing

His promises are each a revelation of what God is eager to do for us.  Until we know what God's will is, there is nothing on which to base our faith.  It is important that the  mind of those seeking  healing be "renewed" so as to be brought into harmony with the mind of God. Faith for appropriation  of God’s promised blessings is the result of knowing and acting on God’s Word. Romans 10 : 17

Christ the Healer

To Those Needing Healing

Before people can have a steadfast faith for the healing of their body,  they must be  rid of all uncertainty  concerning God’s will in the matter.
Before attempting to  exercise faith for healing, one needs to know what the Scriptures plainly teach, that it is just as much God’s will to heal the  body as it is to heal the  soul. It is only by knowing that God  promises what you are seeking that all uncertainty can be removed and a steadfast faith is made possible.

Food for Thought

My Prayer for You

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in ◊ health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John 1:2 NKJV

John prays that the temporal prosperity and physical health of Gaius will be commensurate with his spiritual status, which his generosity and conduct reveal to be in a healthy and prosperous condition. Wishing the reader good health at the beginning of a letter was a common practice in ancient times, but John’s prayer was sincere, not a matter of social convention. As such, it gives a warrant for praying for the physical, the material, and the spiritual well-being of others, and it provides a model of intercession

Prosperity Is a Result, GOD’S ABUNDANCE. It is clear that God wants His children to prosper. How can anyone deny that? However, prosperity should not be the end in itself. It ought to be the result of a quality of life, commitment, dedication, and action that is in line with God’s Word. In this text the word “prosper” (Greek euodoo ) literally means “to help on the road” or “succeed in reaching.” It clearly implies that divine prosperity is not a momentary, passing phenomenon, but rather it is an ongoing, progressing state of success and well-being. It is intended for every area of our lives: the spiritual, the physical and emotional, and the material. However, God does not want us to unduly emphasize any one area. We must maintain a balance.

Luke 6:38 / Mark 10:17–27

health, hugiaino (hoog-ee- ahee -no); Strong's # 5198 : Compare “hygiene” and “hygienic.” To be sound in body, in good health. Metaphorically, the word refers to sound doctrine ( 1 Tim. 1:10 ; 2 Tim. 4:3 ; Titus 2:1 ); sound words ( 1 Tim. 6:3 ; 2 Tim. 1:13 ); sound words ( 1 Tim. 6:3 ; 2 Tim. 1:13 ); and a soundness in the faith ( Titus 1:13 ; 2:1 ).

The God Who is more than enough

Eternal life does not simply mean that I'm not going to die,  that I'm going to live forever.  The sinner is never going to die,  either.  He's going to live in one place,  and we're going to live in another. We are a spirit-being, whether we're saved or unsaved.
We born - again Christian's  have Eternal Life -the live and nature of God,  the  divine  nature in us.  And when we die,  we'll leave this world and go to be with Jesus.  Amen

EL Shaddai

The God Who is more than enough

You can't cleanse your own hands, and you can't purify your own heart.  But you can be cleansed by His blood and stand in the holy place, because He has cleansed you and robed you in His righteousness.
"I will  honor him," God said.  "I will set him on high." These are two of the seven things God said He would do for the person who has set his love on Him. Amen

EL Shaddai

The God Who is more than enough

The world is going to persecute you.  They're going to talk about you. They're going to speak evil of you. And the devil,  who is the god of this world,  will put pressure on you at every turn.  When this happens,  some people think it's God who is putting pressure on them. No! Satan is the author of sickness and disease.  John 10:10
Here Jesus is contrasting His works with the works of the devil.  God is not a thief. Jesus is not a thief.  Heaven's  not a thief.  He is called the god of this world in 2 Corinthians 4:4 and he is out to  defeat you.
He's walking around as a  roaring lion  1 Peter 5:8 No, he's not a roaring lion;  He is as one, seeking whom he may devour.  He will devour you if you let him.
God didn't say we would  never have any troubles,  but He did  say, "I will be with him in  trouble." Psalm  34:19
Half of them? No, all of them.  This God who is more than enough.

EL Shaddai

The God Who is more than enough

God doesn't want you to worry or be anxious about a thing.  If you are,  you shouldn't be.  He said,  "Be careful for  nothing." Why? Because He's the God who is more than enough : the All-Sufficient One, the One who never changes,  the One who never  fails.  He is just as able today as He ever was. (Jesus Christ is the same time yesterday, today, and forever. ) And He's interested in you. He's concerned about you. That’s why He said, "Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore...I will answer him." He didn't say,  "If it's my will, I will  answer him.
If your love is set upon God,  your will is in line with the Word. A man or woman walking in fellowship with God will never ask anything outside the will of God. He is the All-Sufficient One, the God who is more than enough.

EL Shaddai

The God Who is more than enough

The account of Paul and  Silas is one of my favorites. In the book of Acts 16.
At midnight!  It literally happened  at midnight!  But there is also a simbolic thought here. In the midnight  of your life-in your darkest hour- the Bible tells us what to do. At midnight  they prayed and  sang praises to God.
The  fact that the other prisoners heard them means they didn't do it silently;  they did it out load. Yes, the  prisoners heard them, but somebody else heard them too. This is the God who is more than enough.

EL Shaddai

The God of more than enough

God always has been a prayer -answering God. Although the Bible, God said, "I will answer."

Jeremiah 33:3 "Call on me "
Isaiah 43:25,26 "I am He that blotteh " v26 "put me in your remembrance "

Remind Him of His promises!  Remind Him of His  Word!

Matthew 7:7,8 ask, seek, and knock.
Mark 11:24 what things you desire when you pray, believe.
John 16:23 whatsoever you ask in My name.

We see that He is still a God who hears and answers prayer; a God who is more than enough.

Morning Coffee

EL Shaddai

In John 14:13, Jesus said, "whatsoever ye shall ask in my name,  that I will do. " KJV says "I will "
The translators felt they ought to use either  'I shall, ' or 'I will,' because that is the strongest assertion you can make in the English language.  This literally says: "If you ask anything in My name,  if I don't have it, I'll make it for you."
Thank God He can because He is El Shaddai,  the God of more than enough! Amen

EL Shaddai

The God Who is more than enough

He IS the All-Sufficient One.  He is not just the  God of yesterday;  He's the God of NOW. He didn't say, "I'm the God who WAS more than enough." He said,  "I AM El Shaddai. "
No matter where you are at today, weather it be in a lion's  den and the lion's  are roaring, snapping their teeth and trying to claw you to ribbons.  The devil has no bite he has no claws only roars. Even if you are in a jail in Kentucky for standing  against  what the "World " thinks is impossible. MY GOD IS MORE THAN ENOUGH. AMEN

EL Shaddai

The God Who is more than enough

So often we  want to delegate everything to the past.  We say, "Oh, it was wonderful back there.  God could do all those things back there. Isn't that wonderful? "
Or we want to skip over present and talk about what it will be like when we all get to Heaven. "Someday it'll be over, " we say.  "One of these days, I'm going to leave this vale of tears, Here I wonder like a begger through the heat and cold."
Things can be different NOW if  we'll believe God.  Things will be different HERE if we'll  trust Him. He's the God who is more than enough. Amen

Bible  Prayer

Pray According to the Word
Too few Christians  realize the importance of the Word of God in  prayer.  We know that faith begins where the will of God is known.  And we know that God’s  Word is His will. So find scriptures that definitely promise the things you are asking for.  The  reason many people are not praying with  confidence and faith is that they are finding Scripture that proves that God wants them to have those things they are desiring. They don't know for sure if it's God's will or not.  They hope it is,  but they can't know for sure,  because faith begins where the will, or the Word,  of God is known.  Amen.      Kenneth E. Hagin

Outside  Jericho one day, Jesus saw a blind beggar  named Bartimaeus sitting by the side of the road.  When Bartimaeus heard Jesus of Nazareth was approaching,  he began to cry out, "Jesus,  son David,  have mercy on
me! " Mark 10:47
Jesus  stopped and  said, "What will you have me to do?" And Bartimaeus  said,  "Lord, that I might receive my  sight"
And, blessed  be God, He was more than enough!

All throughout the Old Testament,  we see this God  who is more than enough  revealing Himself in the lives  of men  and women: patriarchs, prophets,  priests, and  kings.
We see Elijah praying on Mount Carmel and the fire of God falling from  heaven to consume the  sacrifice.  The  prophets of Baal were defeated.
