A New and Living Way
The Old Testament sacrifices were merely copies of the heavenly altar. What both the Old Testament and the New Testament teach us is that God is a totally Holy Being whose very presence cannot tolerate sin. The Holy presence of God literally destroys sin with a burning purifying fire. Amen

A New and Living Way
We learn in the Old Testament that God instituted what is called the Mosaic Covenant, with animal sacrifices provided to offer temporary covering for man's sin and guilt. In the Levitical Sacrifices, the worshipers were not made perfect. Animal sacrifices had to be repeated yearly.

Christianity is about a personal relationship with Christ. Enjoy Right Standing Before God
We must realize, that there is nothing we can do to earn this right standing. All our attempts to make ourselves Holy and pure before God is useless. If we are reading the Bible, tithing, praying and doing good works because we are trying to move into some invisible scale of spirituality, then we have missed the point. All those actions are important for our spiritual growth, and they benefit us. But they do not earn God's approval. God already approves us because of our faith in what Jesus has done. Amen
They do not direct their deeds toward turning to their God. For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst & they do not know the Lord. Hosea 5:4

It is the hatred of Cain expressed in contemporary terms. Men and women will either surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ through the blood covenant or be ruled by the powers of darkness because of their rejection of God's way. Amen
I was watching in the night visions & behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days & they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion & glory & a kingdom. That all peoples, nations, & languages should serve Him. Find True Righteousness
It is important that we understand how God's law of putting men into right relationship with Himself actually works.
Nowhere does the Bible teach that by performing religious duties men and women can earn their righteousness. Many cults teach their followers that they must complete many religious programs in order to earn their righteousness before God. However the Bible teaches something completely different. Romans 4:2-3 Eph. 2-8

Find Salvation through the Cross
When Cain deliberately rejected God's provision through the blood covering and came to God on his own terms, he became the spiritual father of all those who throughout history, have rejected God's plan of salvation.
In our time humanism has found expression in the mysticism of the New Age Movement. This and other ungodly, age-old, religious cults are renewing their influence upon our day by money, media, pagan religious views are spreading around the world of salvation without Christ or the Cross. John 14.6 Eph2

Modern humanist with all it's emphasis on humanity energized and resourced programs of self - esteem and self - actualization, is really the religion of Cain who offered the fruit of his own work to God. There is nothing wrong with the pursuit of life's goals when they flow from a right relationship with God. In response to the rejection of his offering Cain became angry, those who have come to God with the fruit of their own offering become angry, those who have come to God with fruit of their own offering become angry and persecute who have come to God through the blood. This is why throughout history both Christians and Jews have been persecuted. Amen

Find Victory through Faith
The story of Cain and Abel represents the two different philosophical streams of Humankind. 1. Those who obey the Word of God and approach God through the blood covenant (Abel) and 2. Those who disobey the Word of God and attempt to come to God on their own terms or ideas (Cain).
The living God of the universe went to great lengths to communicate with humankind the need for a blood covenant. This communication has bridged centuries of civilization and has been confirmed with powerful miracles that found their full expression in the resurrection of Jesus Christ in real space-time history.
Therefore, men and women are really without excuse when they choose to reject God's choosen method of salvation by Faith in Jesus Christ through the blood covenant. Amen

In Gen.3:21 Adam and Eve ' Disobedience to the Word of God allowed satan to gain dominion over humankind and cause death and destruction to inter the human race. God's plan of redemption of mankind his dominion over the planet came through the blood of the covenant. Romans 5:14-21
We live in a society where the commandments of God are often totally ignored. We see society has fallen by: lying, deecetiful, and manipulative schemes of the enemy.
In what ways have you actually lost control of power due to disobedience. Consider how God's grace has intervened in these areas. Amen
